- Vet the sponsor in detail.
- Don’t base your decision on return projections. High returns and short timelines typically mean high risk.
- Be diligent and cautious around companies with fancy marketing and not a lot of meat.
- Look for track record and ask for referrals
- Deep dive into the business plan and the current financial viability of the investment.
